Video from Moab's Farmers' Market

What We Eat When We Are Alone

Video camera in hand, we asked customers at the farmers' market what they eat when they are alone. Deborah Madison's new book asks people just that question, and we thought, "let's see what people in Moab are eating." Here are their responses.  ENJOY!

They eat what?!?
First: "Farm Day" was the absolute best Farmers' Market we've had--what a blast with the bees, animals, tractors, etc. THANK YOU Confluence staff for bringing on the fun! Second: I see us Farmers have a lot of education to do. Come on folks! Do you really eat that stuff?!? Locally grown, fresh veggies and poultry is where it's at! Looks like Sol Food needs to do some cooking classes to show just how to use our delicious produce....

Its true-
The things we reach for when we are alone are those foods that are easiest and most satisfying. Me? I'd take a perfect Palisade peach and a napkin out to the porch and eat it, alone.
