Lee Ann Hill added to Food for Thought panels

Lee-Ann Hill added to panels discussions.

Lee-Ann Hill is a graduate student in environmental sustainability and cultural ecology at Prescott College in Arizona. Her professional experience includes landscape conservation, environmental education, and wilderness advocacy. She is passionate about the Colorado Plateau and the mystical canyons of the Colorado River watershed which have been pivotal places of personal and professional growth for Lee-Ann. In 2002 and 2003, she worked at the Four Corners School of Outdoor Education in Monticello running the Canyon Country Youth Corps, and from 2004 to 2007 she worked on the Dominguez Canyons Wilderness Bill which was signed into law this year. Her interest in the landscapes of the past and present cultures in the Southwest led to her studies in traditional farming and food system sustainability.

She will join Ann Vileisis, Deborah Madison, David Mas Masumoto, Jack Loeffler, and Celestia Peregrina Loeffler for Food for Thought panel discussions at Grand County Public Library from 1-4 pm. They will discuss climate change and food first and then move to a discussion on water and food shed thinking. FREE.
