Celestia Peregrina Loeffler

Celestia Peregrina Loeffler, Associate Producer and Project Director for loreoftheland.org, was born and raised in Santa Fe, where she quickly realized the magic of the region. She has since dedicated her life to the art of cultural preservation and has crafted a unique career as a producer, archivist, wordsmith, model and actor. She is currently working with Lore of the Land on myriad projects that promote and preserve the cultural diversity of her beloved homeland. She holds a BA in Creative Writing from the University of New Mexico and is certified to teach English as a second language through the School for International Training. She makes her home with her husband and two dogs (and the surrounding wildlife) in Durango, CO.

She is currently working with her father, Jack Loeffler, on field research for "Thinking Like a Watershed." She has been interviewing people in Colorado about food-shed thinking and is a published writer.  She's worked closely with Gary Nabhan and Laurie Monti. Read more about her and her work at www.loreoftheland.org.
